It's been a month!!!

Ellie is just over a month old and is getting so big!! She is more alert and she focuses on our faces a lot more! She has been such a blessing, we love her soooo much!

My sister Sara came to visit this past week from Ohio. I was so happy she was able to come see Ellie! We had so much fun! I had three baby showers while she was here. It was so good to see my family and friends. Everyone has been so kind! Thank you everyone!!! My sister Rachel was able to come down from BYU-Idaho for the weekend too.

We finally got Ellie's bedroom painted! I'm still working on getting her room put together and organized, but I love how her crib looks!!

And finally, I took a few pictures of her cute hands and feet!!

I love being a mom, I'm learning lots, but I love my sweet baby girl so much!!!

Ohh soo cute! So yes this is the first time I've left a comment on your blog. I kinda felt "wierd" about it before, but I figure that you can deal with it!!!! LOL! Really though, when I saw this:

Never think for a single minute you grew not under my heart but in it!

I just bawled my eyes out! I've been down at my Aunt for the week and topic of conversation has been how much I love you and Jeremy and your families. So that quote ended my weekend perfectly! Love you all!

Yeah for the month milestone! I know it is cliche, but I now understand the phrase "They are growing so fast." Looking at your little one reminds me how much my son has grown. SO enjoy every minute of it (even those really, really, extremely long nights of the baby not wanting to sleep.)

Yay for new pictures of Ellie! She is so cute! It is hard to believe she has only been with you guys for a month, it seems like she has ALWAYS been with you...maybe she has been. You guys look great and little Ellie is lucky to have all of you.

Wow I can't believe it's been a month! She is such a doll Jenny. You guys are still glowing a month later too. I love it... enjoy it while she's little because before you know it she'll be 5 years old heading off to school.

Wow, your daughter is beautiful and your story is amazing! I just stumbled across your blog from the R house...I think I might know your husband, did he grow up in Salem, Idaho? If so, my sister was friends with his in high school.

Anyway, my husband and I are adopting through LDSFS and in the process of waiting...as hard as it's been, we too have seen the Lord's hand and are learning some invaluable lessons. Thanks for sharing your story, it gives us hope!

Nice to meet you Jenny, thanks for your comment. My sister is Cherisse Orme and she was pretty good friends with Janelle growing up. We lived around the corner from Jeremy's family and were in the same ward. But we moved when I was 12 so my memories of back then are a little fuzzy. It was fun to run across your blog today and see your exciting news.
