Home Improvements!

Ok, here's a few projects we've been working on. And one in progress! I'll take some more pictures of our living and family rooms, they look so much better now, but I didn't have any on my camera. We are doing great, Jeremy's working on studying for his insurance test, and I'm getting ready for girl's camp in a few weeks. Our adoption paperwork is slowly coming, hopefully soon... it's so hard waiting! I know it will happen when it's supposed to, and that we will be better prepared, that we are still young... I've heard it all.... but our 5 year mark of trying to have our family is creeping up this fall and I'm ready to be done!!! Ok, enough venting, enjoy the pictures!

So I thought I'd start with a room that's finished. Our upstairs bathroom was baby pink, so this is the new bathroom with a more bathroom appropriate color!

This is my kitchen... a little cluttered with plants I'm trying reeeeally hard not to kill!

Again, a plant I'm trying to keep alive. And a ceiling fan, that needs to be replaced!!! Sooo, not quite done, but you get the idea!

I really love this shelf in my kitchen!

Ok, this is a bit embarrassing, please ignore the unmade bed!!!! This is our bedroom, with all it's wallpaper glory!!!! Now the wallpaper is off, but we are trying to get the glue off the walls so we can paint! The goal is to have it done by my birthday a week from Friday! Hopefully--- it'd be a great present to have it finished and our room back to normal!

I've been wondering about you 2. I'm glad to hear you're still alive! :) Your house is so cute and I'm jealous you get to fix it up how you want. Renting sucks in that regard! :) Your shelf is VERY cute! I need you to come help me in our apartment with decorating! I can't wait to see your bedroom's finished product! Happy Birthday a little early. I hope your day is great! ;) Love ya!

I love that shelf in your kitchen. Everything is looking so nice and I hope that you get your room ready for your birthday. I am still going to be in BC for Peach Days, so I'll get a hold of you before then to figure out what you guys want to do. Talk to you soon :0)

Very cute! I am so glad I have up to this point never had to remove wallpaper. I think talking my way out of prison would be easier... ok, maybe that was a slight exaggeration.

Jenny! It was so fun to see you in UT! I still can't believe we all stayed up so late. Seriously! Your house is so cute. My bathroom upstairs has tan walls, and a deep red curtain with black accents...nice! Good luck on all the adoption paperwork & home improvements! Love you,

Hey! Your house is so cute! I like your bathroom, and your little shelf is pretty cute. I think you should leave the glue in your room and create a funky texture. Mmhmmmm. Just Kidding! But it DOES look like of cool.

Okay, seriously? I'm not sure I'm going to be able to read your blog. It's just soooo familiar and my heart aches for you! We'll definitely have to keep in touch and updated about our adoption processes. I'm actually coming to Utah to visit for a bit in a week. It would be great if we could get together for lunch! Our first meeting is on Tuesday, so we'll be able to talk about stuff.

Love your cute house! I like your style! Good luck with that wallpaper paste! When we moved into our 30 year old house it was covered with lots of wallpaper--layers. We actually had to hire painters to get it all off. I was not going to paint over it--I wanted it gone!

Jenny, Happy belated birthday! Here I meant to send you a message on the day, and be all cool, and I'm just writing one now! I hope you had a fantastic day celebrating, and that your birthday wish comes true! Love, Jen (P.S. I love the pictures of your house--it looks great!)
